Quality Accreditation

ORH has been fully accredited by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) via the Evaluation & Quality Improvement Program (EQuIP) until 2010. This means that we can prove continued improvement occurs at every level and department of the organisation, including not only the services but also the physical environment, and that our practices follow current guidelines, regulations, standards and codes of practice. All staff are involved in these practices.

Within this framework of continuous improvement lie the very important areas of Risk Management and Occupational Health & Safety. ORH is commited to ensuring the safety and reduction of risk to all patients, residents, clients, visitors and staff.

We will again be assessed by ACHS auditors at a Periodic Review in 2008 to ensure we are complying with any recommendations, with a full organisational review again in 2010, at which time we expect to again be fully accredited for a further four years.
