Residential Care Nurse In Charge

Orbost Regional Health is seeking applications from individuals to fulfil the position of Residential Care Nurse In Charge. The Nurse In Charge (NIC) Residential Care is responsible for the delivery of high-quality person-centred care in conjunction with the Residential Care Nurse Unit Manager and Director of Clinical and Aged Care. The NIC is responsible for clinical operations across residential care each shift and the oversight of the direct care team.

Successful applicants must possess:

  • Registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Authority as a Registered Nurse
  • Post-graduate experience of at least 3 years in residential care service
  • Have advance clinical assessment skills and be proficient at determining and timely reporting of clinical deterioration
  • Understanding of contemporary models of aged care
